“Nothing in this world is without terrible barriers–
Except love, but only when it begins.

This photo is looking into the Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família (Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family) in Barcelona in 2003.  In 2003, this was considered a cathedral, but it was consecrated as a basilica in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI.  La Sagrada Família has been under construction since 1882 and is expected to be completed in 2026.  Its architect, Antoni Gaudí, was killed in 1926.  The church continues to finance its construction through entrance fees and private donations.
